Plenty of action over the past month -  Shysta continues to fly the flag for the team winning her 4th race for the prep.  She just loves the wet tracks and has had 2 starts on heavy tracks for 2 wins.  The heavy tracks make them really tough runs but she ...

As always there is plenty of action with our horses. Shysta saluted again, this time at Sandown, to make it three wins on the trot. Not bad for a $2500 purchase. Craig Newitt rode her and said she was more comfortable in the wet than anything he has ridden for years. She ...

We had a good weekend of racing but could not crack it for a winner. Four starters for three placings and a fourth but no winner. Itahi ran another solid race for her third 2nd placing on end at Queanbeyan on Saturday.  Missing the start may have cost her.  She is ...

Forever Canny wins at Sapphire Coast

Forever Canny wins at Sapphire Coast

Jan 11, 2010

Great win first up by Forever Canny.  She was far from fit but her "canny" trainer thought she would be a good chance to win the race while racing her way to fitness. Racing for $14,000 (including the BOB's bonus) was certainly better than paying for a ...

We had a good winner at Warrnambool on Moday in Tuscan Ruler.  He was first up over 1000m and had blinkers on for the first time.  The blinkers really switched him on and he flew the gates sitting just off the pace in the run.  A gap opened at the top of the ...
