Shaville win number 5

Mar 12, 2010

Shaville has not received the recognition he deserves for his terrific win at Geelong on the 27th Feb.  That is according to the owner that asked my why I had not written it up on the news page - Well here it is.

He has been racing very well all preparation without winning and deserved to put a win on the board for his owners.

He was too good for his opposition at Geelong on a 0-78 Hcp over 1530m. Winning by close to 2 lengths with Mark Flaherty riding.

That was his fifth win and he has now won close to $100,000.

Apart from the odd off day (we think he hates the heat) he has been a most consistent horse having placed in 13 of his 22 starts.  He is not a superstar but has certainly been a lot of fun for his owners.  He races again at Moonee Valley next Friday night.
