Shysta wins Maiden

Apr 29, 2010

Shysta rewarded her owners with a very impressive win at Sale today.

She showed some form at her previous campaign with a couple of 2nd placings and had tested our patience with some minor injury issues since.

She was ridden beautifully by Chris Symons today and proved far too strong in the run to the line.  She won by around a length with a gap back to 3rd.

She has now had 4 starts for 1-2-0 and on todays win there looks to be more wins in store.

Shysta is another example of how one does not have to spend a lot of money on a yearling to have success on the racetrack.  One could say she is obscurely bred being by Yasey (JPN) - Shyla (Manshood (CAN)) and was purchased for $2,500 from the Inglis Autums Sale on 2007.

Her twenty owners look forward to the campaign ahead.
