Dec 31, 2010
Since our last news update we have had plenty of racing action, some hard luck stories and few winners along the way.
Al Ahmar won his 3rd race for his syndicate at Goulburn late in November. He was very impressive winning by 3 lengths. He subsequently had a couple of runs in town and is having a short let up.
We have had a very good week this week with Wolf Call winning at Warrnambool on the 27th and a double at Echuca today.
Danzoya won over 1300m at only his 3rd start. He was unlucky first up this campaign and the penny seemed to drop today as he came from last to win comfortably. The race panned out well for him today and he is a horse that should run over longer distances.
It took just 35mins to notch up our next winner. Arctic Point has always shown ability but has taken a long time to put it all together. He broke his Maiden in the very next race at Echuca today.
We have 2 more runners to wind up 2010 - Paradise Resort at Nowra at their twilight meeting and Shaville tonight at Moonee Valley. Another winner or two would be a great way to end the year.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas - it was big in my house with a 4yo and 5yo well and truly wound up about Santa. Scarlett may have a better understanding next year (she is only 15 months old)
Hopefully 2011 brings us all many winners.
