Shaville

Mar 18, 2011

After a bleak couple of weeks for our team Shaville has broken his drought to record his 6th win.

He is now a 6yo and is close to being in the "grand old campaigner class now and although having run many placings and running well he had not won for over 12 months.

Today he led all the way in a small field at Werribee on Cup Day.  It was a $35,000 race and a good win for his 20 owners. I must give Jamie Mott credit for a fantastic ride.  Shavilles record now stands at 34 runs for 6-6-6 and $140,000 in prizemoney.

The win was overdue for the syndicate and for our stable as the last couple of weekends have been a little bleak with horses running below expectations - we had been drawing bad barriers, having no luck/bad rides and horses misbehaving at the races.

It is good to be back in the winners circle.

We have been busy buying yearlings at the recent yearling sale.  If you are interested please check out the photos and pedigrees on the FOR SALE paghe on the site.

Happy Punting.
