Velonski became "the mouse that roared" at Werribee today - what a win. he may not be the biggest 2YO in Australia but he has ability and is a good trier.

Chris Symons who has ridden him in track work and trials made sure he was a lot more switched on today than he was on debut at Bendigo when he finished third.

There is no doubt that he would have won comfortably at Bendigo had he stepped away on terms. At Werribee today Chris made him begin smartly and he showed good speed to lead early, then take a sit second, running to the front in the straight to win well.

He is one of six horses in Hancox Racing No.5 Ltd (5 x 2yO's and the 3YO Class Beats). You will need to be quick to secure a share in this package as the offer closes in a couple of weeks.

Velonski is another success for us with Greg Eurell and his Cadet Lodge team and of course last week's Seymour maiden winner FAITHFUL ANGEL is also trained by Greg Eurell.

Our Inglis Premier Yearling Sale starts next monday so we are busy sorting through the youngsters on offer at the Inglis complex at Oaklands Junction. Velonski ($30,000), Faithful Angel ($3,500) and Star Topaze ($20,000) are all graduates from the Inglis Melbourne Sale where we expect to buy some more winners next week.
