Hancox news and Tips for Randwick

Apr 11, 2014

Another week and another winner for the Hancox team.

We had 4 individual winners for the month of March and Al Ahmar kicked off April with a win in the Gundagai Cup (his 11th race win and 2nd Gundagai Cup).  He is typical of the Al Maher breed - they are sound, tough and durable.  Al Ahmar has been racing for close to 5 years - had 60 starts for 11-12-8 and is racing as good as,if not better than ever.

We have shares in a filly by AL MAHER for sale now.  Like Al Ahmar she was purchased at the Classic sale and was great value for money.  Check out the For Sale page for details.

For those interested in a staying filly (must have patience to reap rewards here) you will see a very attractive PENTIRE filly - for the pedigree buffs she has 3x4 cross of Mill Reef.

If you read Rich Hill Studs website (CLICK HERE) they state that the emerging trend is to breed Mill Reef line mares to Pentire.   Our filly is well bred and athletic.   Again - great value for money.

We are also half way through selling the STRATEGIC colt on the site.  His is a well grown, strong, athletic colt.

What a great days racing!

Race 6  - 12, 5, 3, 13

Race 7  - 2, 20, 18, 1

Race 8  - 5, 11, 9, 19

Race 9  - 4, 3, 1, 6

I think you will find some good value there.

I (Rod) think Villa Verde can win the TJ Smith. Would love to see it as Hancox Racing No 6 owns the half brother - Free On Saturday.  I am also back on El Roca in the Doncaster.

Heart Of Many - Saturday at Doomben

Al Hamza - Sunday at Benalla

Al Ahmar - Sunday at Wagga

Divine Reign - Monday at Geelong

Overnighter - Monday at Geelong

Al Badia - Monday at Goulburn

Good Luck
