Big weekend for Hancox runners
Feb 20, 2015
A quick update with our runners for the weekend and into next week.
It is a big weekend for shareholders in Hancox Racing No 6 with Free On Saturday running tonight at Moonee Valley and Mossbeat running in "The Vanity" tomorrow at Flemington - it is a Gr 3 race for 3yo fillies.
Members of Hancox Racing No 6 have been having a lot of fun with both of these horses proving to be very competitive at city level. Free On Saturday has drawn to get a good run tonight and with some luck will figure in the finish. One thing is for sure - it will be a better result than last week when many of us drove to Moonee Valley for Mossbeat, waited in the rain for a couple of hours only to hear "Meeting Abandoned" and we then drove home.
Mossbeat is in the deep end tomorrow but she has been racing consistently well and deserves a crack at this type of race. She will be at big odds but should be competitive.
We also have Testalina running at Port Macquarie tomorrow (provided it stops raining and the meeting goes ahead) and Crafty Eva will run at Kilmore on Sunday.
Miss Del Toro running at Sandown on Wednesday (backup plan is Moonee Valley Fri night)
Celebrakti at Yarra Valley next saturday
and Alawa, Heart of Thunder, Heart Of Many, Chicago Magic, Al Hamza and Super Sell all not far off racing.
Classy Al ran a super 3rd on Wednesday at Sandown. He is knocking on the door of a win and will race again in a couple of weeks.
Our team of horses is racing well - hopefully we can notch up a city win, even a Gr 3 over the weekend.
Good Luck to all connections.
We are in the process of putting together Hancox Racing No 7 Ltd. It will be a very similar setup to HR6 ie. $1200 one off payment. 800 shares available to race 6 horses across 4 states.
We have purchased some horses at the recent Inglis Classic Sale and hope to buy more at the Inglis Premier sale in Melbourne and/or Adelaide and Brisbane sales.
Shares in Hancox Racing No 7 will be for sale late in March. I will email with details when available.
